Sterling Memorial Library, Yale University, 1931

The windows at the library, designed by G. Owen Bonawit, contain hundreds of magnificent painted medallions, and intricately carved decorative sheet lead overlays. The conservation of these windows involved the removal and repair of the lead overlays, and their reattachment onto the surface of the reconstructed panels.
