Badly burned in a terrible fire, the majority of the windows in the synagogue were destroyed and recreated from photographs. Samples of salvaged material were collected and used as source material for the procurement of matching glass and lead. Many of the original dedication plates were recreated with silkscreens and vitreous paints, and were kiln fired.
